After 63 years of consistent operation….

Hartmeyer Ice Arena (HIA), located on Madison’s east side, is in need of significant repairs totaling $3m. 

One more mechanical or infrastructure failure could reduce HIA’s ability to successfully operate, shutting down all the youth, high school, and adult groups that depend on HIA. 

Operating income supports ongoing rink operations, but is not enough to make the crucial mechanical and infrastructure repairs to keep the rink safe and operational.
